You cannot get a taxi around here if you have your dog with you. I have taken him on the bus a few times from him being a puppy to socialise him. I mainly take him around in the car.

I have to pay for Eddie on the bus. He sits at my feet so I don't know why I have to pay for him. Also he makes everyone smile so he should be free

I dont use PT, but if I did I think it would be mixed, just as it is on walks, much would depend on the tabloids at the time I would think, if rotties are getting a hard time, I would think that PT would be a nightmare,

Yes it's a shame. I sometimes meet a woman with a rottie on my walks and she is really defensive. I think she has had a hard time because of her rottie.

Sounds a brilliant experience.

I don't think people would take too kindly to Jess on a bus as we have a high asian population that cross roads to get past her when we are walking.

Would love to see how she is on a bus though

bruno has been on buses but isnt overly keen, its no problem here and they dont charge for them.
He hasnt been on a train or taxi.

And a boat .....could see that as being a total disaster as he would only need to see a seagull and he would be overboard !! no definetly sticking to dry land with my boy...

thats such a shame, I try never to get defensive,

I do think now though that to an extent its not just the large dogs that get a hard time, many people are very anti dog these days so lots of dog owners get disaproving looks and comments, though people with breeds that do seem to hit the headlines for all the wrong reasons seem to get it constantly
