Chicken wings

Are they too small for a lab?

Raw - no.

Jess (GSD) eats them most days with no problem whatsoever

My two staffords have one every day and they are fine with them, my agility trainer feeds her boxer and other two dogs on them too.

No - they're fine, provided you're feeding raw

If you are worried about your dog not chewing the wings, make sure you hold them until they get the hand of it.

Or... try chicken carcasses if you can get hold of them.

If you think your Lab might swallow them down whole it might be an idea to hold one end of the wing with a pair of pliers to slow him down a bit

Why? I feed them as a treat (to clean teeth) even though I feed a dry complete.

I have no problems at all with my dogs.

Chicken bones are brittle and dangerous when cooked, that is what she means. If the wings are raw, they are fine...

My friends Lab is better with the carcass, as it slows him down, my two big dogs have them and are fine my JRT`s hate anything raw. I get mine free from my butcher, if you ask your local butcher he might keep them for you, i normally put money in the charity box
