Mother's Day.....

There's been a bit of debate in our house lately about Mothers Day.

I class myself as Monty's mummy and therefore believe I'm entitled to some regonition this Sunday - I don't have any real kids just Monty.

Rich, on the other hand says that I did not give birth to Monty therefore it does not count - if only Fathers day was before Mothers day!

So who here gets Mothers day pressies/cards from their doglets? Or am I just living in a dream world?!?

You may not be his natural mum but are his adopted one and thats the one that counts. I think at least chocolates and a long lie are in order

I'm afraid we never get the debate here as the kids would just laugh! On the other hand, if we had no kids I would definately be pushing the cause!

I do have my son Charlie, but the animals have bought me a card and a little box of chocs on previous Mothers Days.
... and it's good because if you go in Hallmark they have the cards down low so that they can reach them. Tills are a bit higher up though.

Mind you, I did only get one card from two dogs, two cats, two guinea pigs and a hamster!
Tight lot! No more pocket money for them!

Sounds like a good plan to me!! I did tell Rich that if Month didn't acknowledge mothers day even with just a card then we might have to have kids instead. That oughta do it!
