Vet price jump!!!

Just got the bill for Tink's last vaccine..can't say I am impressed in the slightest.. £59.41.. last years was only £37!! Thats a HUGE hike in a year!!
Not only that they kept me waiting for 3hours!!

So.. I have rang around and found one who will do it for £45 including call out..or £33 if I take her to them in the box (£5 diesel!)

So guess where I WON'T be going again!!.. I'm not tight but thats ridiculous!

(actually yes I am tight..but why pay £15 more for the same thing!)

Gosh - that is a big jump!

Sirens was £31.50 in august - which included a very through check over and eye exam.

I know....dont get me started on vets bills!!!

Ours are ridiculous...I paid 100 quid to have poppys teeth rasped and checked but he didnt do it very well anyway....bloody waste of time!

Dogs vaccines here have gone up loads too....so more reason for people not to vaccinate

I think that's cheap!! Mine used to be £75 and I'm going back a few years here! You're talking Equine Influenza together with that other one, the name of which escapes me at the moment!! I can never understand how everything down South is always double the blooming price, why is that then???!! That shouldn't happen should it!! Vaccines must be the same price to BUY no matter where the blooming vet's practice is situated!!!

Yes Tassle... Tinkerbell was sadly named when she arrived LOL.. (her name on her passport is Banshee!! suits her!)

Cheers Dawn.. will be interesting to find out..

H....cheap!!!!! You need to move up here doll LOL

I would want teeth, feet AND vacc done for £75!!

her last vac was £25 call out fee and £12 odd for the vaccc..

This time the call out is £35 and the vacc is £25 Methinks they are taking the proverbial!!
