Tinker Border Collie male

Meet Tinker

Tinker is a two-year-old Border Collie who is looking for a new home because his owner felt they could no longer trust him after he snapped at one of the children in his household.

Poor Tinker has obviously been regularly teased by children in his past, he is very cautious of them and prefers to keep his distance. He is a sensitive soul who is eager to please. Intelligent and quick to learn, he would make an ideal non-competitive agility dog. He will need to go to training classes to keep his active brain busy. He is good with other dogs, toilet-trained, responsive to commands, and is generally submissive, sweet-natured and affectionate. A lively and playful dog who loves nothing more than going for long walks and playing fetch in the park.

Tinker isn’t too keen on being left alone so will need someone who is around for most of the day. He is looking for experienced owners who have owned Collies before and will be prepared to exercise him for a minimum of two hours of off-lead exercise every day. Any children in his new household will need to be sixteen years upwards. With plenty of mental and physical stimulation Tinker will make a well-behaved, fun-loving and loyal companion.

Tinker is looking for a perfect new home, a home where he will be loved and cherished for the rest of his life.

He is beautiful. I do wish, when people train their dogs, they would train their kids as well. This sort of re-homing wouldn't need to happen then.

Bless him. I hope he finds his forever home quickly.
