Finn's vet visit

Just back from the vet with Finn. He was in for his booster and health check as I had been a bit worried about his ears. His ears are ok just to use sudocrem on the flaps as they are a little bit red.

The best news is that he now weighs 31kg and is at an ideal weight So in 5 months he has gained 13 pounds. In the last few months on his new food he has gained eating a normal amount of food so a rice free diet seems to agree with him.

Well done Finn!! At least that's one thing less to worry about! How are his allergies generally?

Glad Murphy hasn't gained that much weight - he's over 30kg at 10 months old

His allergies are well under control but then the main one is a seasonal allergy (autumn)

We think the reason he was not gaining weight was a rice intolerance as he is now on Arden Grange fish and potato and gaining weight steadily eating a normal amount of food. Where as before he had to eat massive amounts of food to gain weight.

I am sure Murphy will slow down soon

Thanks all I am really pleased today and the vet visit was not too stressful. Only took one person to keep him still on the scales
