As longtime admirer of Lurchers & Longdogs, and supporter of my local Longdog Association, I was both honoured and delighted to be given the opportunity to judge this class. I only wish I could have gone over them and seen them move 'in the flesh' - but I will settle for the great pics instead.

1st: It was primarily the head and expression that kept bringing me back to this dog, and which ultimately earned it joint first place. It looks so intense and alert, seemingly on the verge of springing into action!
1st: Another cracker of a Lurcher, - one I could see taking off after a lure, and loving every minute of it! A very worthy joint first place!
2nd: What a splendid looking Longdog, and another I would love to see in action! I am sure the length of those legs would cover the ground with speed and efficiency.
3rd: This dog looks to be a real powerhouse, and yet has such a kind eye, - a real gentle giant.
4th: An athletic looking Longdog, with a keen expression, 100% 'locked on' to something just out of shot!
5th: Jointly placed, either of these dogs could so easily move up the placings on another day.
Both are nicely presented and look in great condition, and I would love to see them engage in their chosen sporting activity.
