In so much pain......
I decided to walk two miles home from the garage after dropping my car off for a small repair. This was almost six weeks ago now.....
I decided to "give it some" as my exercise levels are not what they should be. That's what you get for walking Roxy and not Lennon
Anyway, the upshot of this burst of energy is pain in my left calf and behind the knee.
Went to the doctor who said I had damaged the hamstring muscle and ligaments. She gave me some anti-inflmatory suppositories (don't ask), some more pain killers, and referred me for physio (privately).
This is all very well, but.....
I want less pain, not more
I can't keep the suppositories in
The painkillers hardly make any difference at all
I can't sleep
I spend half my day in tears...
I just got back from walking (limping) the dogs round the block, and at the last bit, something "popped" at the top of my calf just behind my knee. The pain was so bad, I actually cried out. For a few seconds, I couldn't actually put my foot back down on the floor. How I managed to get back in the house is a mystery.
I've had to call in sick. This is a nuisance, as I was interviewing at 10am today, and have a meeting set for 0930 tomorrow.
I've tried to call the doc, but surgery wasn't open.
I really don't know what to do now.
I need the loo, but the thought of going up and down the stairs is horrible
