EMG results not what we expected

ok i had my EMG and it showed very mild CP in one wrist but that wasn't the reason for my wrist pain ...had a scan done and its shows inflamation of some temderns around my wrist and thumb so its not 100& sure yet whether its

da quirvains tenosynovitis

have some symptoms of both

wrsits splits at nigtht and 6 hrs a day with painkillers and HC injections

if all fails then its an operation

oh, so sorry to hear this! I have carpal tunnel myself and I know that can be excrutiatingly painful at times, it doesnt work that I have an office job on the computer all day!!!

But, I hope it all works out for you so that you don't have to go through surgery and hopefully they can find a pain killer that works for you!

Both me and my Mum had tenosynovitis. Mine went after wearing a splint, can't remember how long for but it was all day, all night and took it off to wash.
Mum had hers operated on, been fine since.

Hope which ever it is gets better soon.

Oh dear...sorry to hear this. Hope you get some relief from the pain soon.

I'm still waiting for a date for my EMG test. I have seen an Occupational Therapist who made me a splint to wear a night which helps...but only when I'm wearing the splint.

Do you mind me asking what your symptoms are?

Hope you don't have to have an op Lise. It must be terribly painful. Any ideas as to why you've got it?? Just interested! Hope you get some relief, you poor thing.xxx

started off with painful wrists like they needed to crack
then pins and needles at night followed now by pain in the thumb joint the right is worse than the left

am waiting for splints to be made so have temp plaster
dr said WHAT helps me sleep i said a bottle of wine he smiled and said anything i can give you to help i said yes BLOOSOM HILL PLEASE ..........
