Meet Corky - Norwegian Forest Cat!

The spotties have been joined by the most gorgeous, red and white Norwegian Forest kitten, called Corky. He is a rescue and the first thing I had to do was wash him as he stank!!!
He is about three months old (nobody really knows) and looks a bit odd as he is still drying off!

I'll take another pic when he's dried off and fluffed up!

His parents are registered NFCs but the litter was accidental and there are no papers so if that is true he is genetically a NFC but will grow up as a moggie. Hard to tell the difference for non-cat enthusiasts, with this breed!
Still, poor little feller needed a home and I miss the cats I had before I moved to Ireland (happily rehomed with my ex's family) so I don't care what he is. I just LOVE gingers of any shape or size.......
He's called Corky as the County flag for Cork is red and white!
Deccy has his eyes out on stalks and keeps looking at me for an explanation, Diva wants Corky to come out and play!

Ahh I see, he is still a NFC though. These accidental litters are everywhere, not wishing to be negative, but if the parents were registered and the kittens are not it probably means the parents were sold as pet quality only and sold on the "non active" register, whereby no progeny can be registered. iof this is the case and you know who bred the parents, it might be worth while telling them.

Im sure he will grow into a super fellow, I board a few NFC and they are generally super characters, very big and very cuddly. best of luck with him.
Dawn.

You'll have your hands full now Gill! We had Sam and Arthur both together as pup and kitten and we had a few laughs.
