Many Thanks to Patch for asking me to judge this class and to my efficient steward Mahooli who dragged me out of the judges hospitality tent
Gosh this was hard, far harder than judging for real in the ring.
My entries were very impressive and every dog oozed the alertness and fitness that these pastoral breeds should show.
Finally I managed to come to a decision.

1st This dog captured my eye and just wouldn't go away. What a stunning example of the breed he is in head, body and construction. Plenty of bone but not overdone. Good angles front and aft. Slightly arched neck into excellent shoulder confirmation. What a credit to his owner

2nd Very close to first in my opinion. Another lovely dog. Correct length to height, arched neck which flowed into shoulders and body. Good angles front and aft and good tight feet that the breed asks for.

3rd What a pretty bitch this is. Alert, good ear set and responsive to her owner. Nicely arched neck and good body shape and topline. Still a baby but maturing nicely.

4th Another pretty girl. Alert showing off her lovely earset. Good equal length of skull to muzzle. Good length of neck and excellent body shape. Another worthy winner.

5th Another handsome dog. Nice head with good ear set. Arched neck onto good body shape. Coat in lovely condition. Good tail length and well let down hocks.

6th What a sweetheart of a bitch this is. Good earset, set wide, on a correct shaped head with decisive stop. This gives her a lovely expression. Excellent condition.

Thankyou.
They were all winners in my book and a credit to their owners. I'd give any of them a home
