Announcement : Virtual Show Video Classes !
In considering certain Companion Show classes, there are a few which do not translate well in still photographs.
With this in mind, the Show Secretary has decided that there will be some Video Entry classes to fill this gap

In order to give entrants plenty of time to organise use of a video camera and someone to shoot the footage, you are invited to start working on them with at least six weeks notice [ starting now
]The first three classes for video entries will be :
Waggiest Tail [ Novelty ]
Best Movement, Pedigree AV
Best Movement, Crossbreed
For the Best Movement classes :
You will need to show your dog moving in a straight line, [ camera side on ], turn toward camera, then turn side on, then move away, then turn and finish where you started.
Aim for a smooth `trotting` gait, not too fast but not just walking either, however don`t worry too much as the Judge will take lack of experience into account :smt001
For Waggiest Tail, you can use toys / treats, sounds, whatever makes your dog wag with happiness, so long as handlers are not identifiable

You have a minimum of six weeks to work on your video`s before any of the video classes will open [ more details nearer the time ], but so you know ahead of time, clips no longer than 30 seconds each please.
*When uploading your clips, please title them as Best Movement Entry or Waggiest Tail entry so that they can be as anonymous as possible as per all other classes.
*Any other suitable for video classes will be announced in the same way with plenty of notice and on this thread.
*If you have suggestions for other classes you would like to see in a video format, please post them on this thread for consideration

We could even have an on video Heelwork To Music class/display as well as a show `extra` !
If its a viable/popular idea, that one would probably be opened up for members to vote on for their favourite routine.
Let me know what you guys think, its up to you if it gets scheduled or not

If you follow those instructions for Photobucket you`ll see that uploading then posting vid clips is the same and its easier than you probably imagine
