Valentine Dinner

Well, we were going to go out for lunch together as both off today, but we weren't hungry at lunchtime. So instead we went to Tesco's to get something nice for dinner.

So.... I have just rustled up spicy crab cakes with sweet chilli dip, rolled shoulder of lamb with all the trimmings and have chocolate fondants with chantilly cream ready to go in the oven when there is room in our tummies!

They are notoriously hard to do, got to get the outside cooked and the middle oozy, so OH bought a reserve dessert in case they go wrong, chocolate roulade. (He has no faith lol)

We could explode by the time the night is over lol

*hic*... that's the pink bubbly too

You'll have to fight the dogs for two crab cakes and the roast tatties and lamb.
Inca would be a doddle, but Tonto runs behind the couch with anything really precious lol

Well, I've had nearly a bottle of champagne and the fondants are due out of the oven.
If they've worked it will be a miracle lol
So I'm now on the Baileys to drown any possible sorrows
