Canny Collars.Anyone used one?

I am thinking of getting one of these,on the whole Ollie is very good on the lead, its just when he see's something like a lager can,or another dog he would like to say hello too that he is a problem.
He is weighing nearly 5 stone now and when he pulls for those reasons is difficult to hold,I have bought a comfort collar but still don't feel in complete control.
Are the canny collars any good has anyone used one.

I used a Canny Collar on Teagan, and no matter how much we tried, she couldn't get used to it, and could still pull.

I prefer the Mikki Walkrite Harness - Teagan is big and strong, and didn't even pull as soon as I put the harness on.

Hi all my dogs have canny collars. I think they are very good.

I would recommend them over other similar collars.

I used a gentle leader on mine but it kept slipping up to near his eyes.

I now use the Dogmatic on both boys and I find it really good. They have a website too,

Cannot comment on the Canny collar as I have never used one.

I use the dogmatics on my 2 and I have my arms back!!!
I find I have to loop it around their collars otherwise they have discovered how to get them off by using their paws.

have to use a halti when walking kai our husky coz she just doesnt know when to stop pulling.

the halti works great because it turns her head before she can get any momentum going

when i tried a canny collar i had just got her out of the car and was headed for the park when she pulled into it that much that her front legs lifted off of the floor and the collar slipped off, the only reason we still have a dog is because she returns on command.

i havent used it since and have gone back to the halti

I have tried both the dogmatic and the canny collar, it does iritate them to begin with but with perseverance and loads of praise they do get used to them.
I prefer out of the two the Canny collar, the dogmatic has a loop under the chin and my dogs can get that in their teeth and chew it. With the canny it hooks at the back of the neck and dont get any pulling.
Good luck.
