Adaptil collars??

Hi

Does any one know if you can use Adaptil pheremone spray used for bedding etc onto Adaptil pheremone collars to re-fresh them??

No it won't work. The collars are plastic and the pheromone is impregnated into them and won't absorb the spray. The spray only lasts a few hours and will wear off quickly, unlike the collars which work 24/7 for around a month. However you can spray the Adaptil onto a bandana if you only need a temporary collar affect

Thanks a lot for the answer - bummer though - I was soooo hoping not to have to but two lots of collars in a short space of time!!!!

It could be worth looking into alternative pheromone collars. Beaphar used to do one but unfortunately I think it's been discontinued, but apparently there's a US brand that is near identical to it and I've heard it's cheaper to import from America than buying the Adaptil ones over here! Depends on whether you can wait for it to arrive though
