Thats so sad.
I think some people just won't realise just how much a pet can mean, I really feel for everyone concerned and I can imagin how he felt parting with his beloved pet

How incredibly sad - that poor man. I agree with Steph, there are so many people who just won't realise or understand how much pets mean to their devoted owners. They are family. It sounds as though this poor chap only had his dog in his life, and they were completely reliant on each other.

I just hope they are both at peace now, and together again.
