Strawberries!!

I love strawberries!!
Last week I got my first picking - not loads but YUM

Today at the shops I was tempted by some - guess I forgot mine are growing now
£3!!

Then I went looking to see if I had any more to pick
Just a few

£free!! I know which ones Ben likes better (although note to self - if you chuck the slug ones on the grass where the dogs are playing then its not likely to be blood on the dogs paw - but squished strawberry

Ooh yummy
I've just picked mine, no where near as many as you. I have put them in the fridge cos there are a lot more that will be ripe tomorrow.
So tomorrow I will have a feast
I bet yours are tons better than the £3 ones!

Lovely and loads more than me too, I have been picking a few a day and having them on weetabix for my brecckie Don't they taste much better than shop bought...much sweeter.

We've got one strawberry plant and it's produced about 5 nice red ones so far - they are absolutely lovely!

We've had loads this year! (I think its because we've hidden the plants from the dog!) I know i'm mean but I really like strawberries!

That's why I have mine in hanging baskets ...well out of reach and a really good crop too.
