Good morning all - Saturday!

Morning all,

Well, instead of the usual gallivanting on a Saturday, I'm having to work for the next few weeks on the dual running of our helpdesk system.

Although this is a pain in the bum, at least the holiday coffers will be swelled, so it's a bit of a double-edged sword.

Can't be helped, so let's get on with it!

Not nice having to work Saturdays but when your holiday comes round you will be pleased you did.
Off to the vets with Shady this morning for her first check up. Its just with my vet and I am going to get them to come to the car to examine her as I am not taking her in there where she will get stressed and leap and lunge at the other dogs. Not what her leg needs or the other dogs for that matter.

I have been up since the crack dawn cooking . We are having a little family get together with Mark, Tracey and the children too say goodbye to Michael who flies out to Dubai on Wednesday, don't expect they will get much of a chance too see him after today as Michael is out and about catching up and saying goodbye to his friends.

Morning Vicki, morning all. Wet, windy and miserable here to day but I couldn't care less! 2 weeks off looms ahead and it's well needed.

Don't head off to Ambleside til Tuesday so a few relaxing days at home first.

Don't work too hard Vicki. As you say, at least it builds your holiday time!

I'm off to do a big shop this morning to stock up for my brother staying next week then back home to get the ironing done. After that my time's my own. Have a good Saturday all.

Had a lovely day here, great weather, helped a friend look after some children (just re-enforces why not to have kids, but fun none the less) and then took the boys for a walk.

Ooh a rare saturday off for me today (sorry Vicki )
Just got back from the first round of dog walks, t'was bliss as no-one round here, seems to get up before 8am on a saturday, so we had the woods and fields to ourselves!!
Not much planned for today, apart from more walking and housework, anything to keep my mind off Monday's event..

Crap you have to work V, but just think of the money !!

I on the other hand would rather be working !! Ha ha off for lunch with the inlaws ..............
at least its supposed to be nice, so will convince them to sit outside so I can sun myself whilst listening to the same old stories from my Father in law.
