What a plonker!!

I spilt something on the halogen hob while cooking this evening so immediately got some kitchen towel to wipe it off. Unfortunately my hand slipped off the towel and I ended up wiping my fingers right across the hob which was still on and red hot. I now have blisters on the side of three fingers on my right hand and my goodness it didn't half hurt. Well that was the second stupid thing I have done in the last few days. I will let you know about the third which is no doubt round the corner.

I'll say what my chemistry teacher used to say when anyone in class hurt themselves-

"Kiss it better-good job it wasn't your bum"!

Good lord, ouch!

Have a bowl with cold water or water and ice beside you, dunk your hand into it for as long as you can stand it, they say you should run a burn under cold water for 10 minutes immediately after the burn.

Hope you get better soon *hugs*
