Difficult without seeing a picture of the dog as need to see his face to see what name suits. What about 'Blue'

I always think "status type" breeds should be called softer names..... rather than killer for example. lol

What is his personality like?

Paddy - I love that one! I vote Paddy!

When we saw our pup at 5 weeks, we had 3 names to choose a name. It was narrowed down to Louie and Jake. If I'd gotten to pick the girly I wanted, we would've called her Mable - as we got him from Mablethorpe.

After narrowing it down to two names - we both knew it was going to be Louie. We have a Sadie and a Benjie, and with the "ie" on the end, they pretty much all come back to whichever name gets shouted first

The way we choose is to look in their eyes, the name should come straight to you

But I still vote Paddy!

I agree with doggirl, wait until you see his personality to decide on his name. For my Amer. Staffordshire mix, I gave her my mum's nickname of Dutchie, even though her vet record shows Dutchess.
