Do dogs bark in their sleep?

Some nights i hear my dogs bark, just the once, and it's not a growly bark as if they've heard something outside or anything. and it's just the one bark, do they bark in their sleep like some humans talk in their sleep? Or i wonder that because there are two of them in the cage whether they've rolled onto each other or something like that. Not worried about this just curious!

Mine do when they are dreaming, but their mouths are shut so it comes out as a higher pitched, muffled sound rather than a proper bark, although I think it stems from the same source!
If one wakes up suddenly after a bad dream they can give a quick "woof" while they are still disorientated, then give a bashful grin when they "come to" properly.

Ollie howls like there is something chasing him one of us has to come down to him because he seems so distressed, but after a tummy rub he goes back to sleep again.

My lot seem to just 'grumph' in their sleep, not a full on bark though!
It is so cute, I love it! I wonder what they are dreaming about!

Finn barks and growls in his sleep. He does a really mean sounding growl. Strange thing is I have never heard him growl like that when he is awake
