Today's "BLONDE" Moment!!

I had to make a very important phone call this morning to a property developer and I had the letter from him in front of me. I looked down at the bottom of the letter to see his name, and it said, Yours sincerely, PETER GILBERT FRICS, all in big bold capital letters. So who do I ask to speak to then? Of course, Mr. Frics! They said they didn't have a Mr. Frics there, to which I retorted they must have coz I've got his letter right in front of me! Then my friend who was with me (LUCKILY!!) suddenly piped up with "noooooo, his name is Mr. Gilbert and the Frics bit stands for Federation of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors!!! When I heard this, I quickly told them I had dialed the wrong number!!! Now, why couldn't they have put the full stop inbetween each letter of the Frics that you're supposed to then, or put it in lower case like you're supposed to do!! Not my fault really is it!

I'm on the hunt for a blonde wig now!

Thanks Stephanie, that makes me feel a bit better then, not a lot, but a bit! How stupid must I be! I was all ready to use my voice of authority on him too, when I got through to him, can you imagine what he'd have said when I called him Mr. Frics! He'd have thought I was a nutter!

We had some diamond drillers at a place I worked and a rather 'up herself' brunette got really excited and couldn't believe there might be diamonds on site
I wouldn't have laughed so much but I couldn't stand the woman.
