Do you say "2 times further" or "twice as far" etc.
I'm getting fed up with this "2 times" that is taking over (along with hhhaich)

Geeeeee, I'm getting old!!

'2 times further' doesn't make sense, or is it just me?

Aah good! but have you noticed how often 2 times further is used? I've just heard it on an advert but I went into such a rant I can't remember which one!

But what if it were three and not two - would you say "thrice as far" or "three times as far/three times further"?

Personally I don't care what Google says - for me two times further is very poor grammar, on a par with "it aint necessary"

Gorden says twice as far and so do I. He said to tell you Jenny it really winds him up too.
He says there are lots of adverts using it.
