Having a wobble. Unpacking Dads bag.

Just plucked up the courage to try and unpack Dads bag he had in hospital. Its been in the bottom of the wardrobe for nearly a year and I dont know why but I didnt feel able to do anything with it. Just took it upon myself to try and sort it out and had a bit of a wobble. I know it gets easier with time but seeing all his things including a pad with his writing on set me off. Then at the bottom, I found a wallet with £50 in. That set me off again, Felt like my lovely Dad had given me a Christmas present after all for my first Christmas without him. Thank you Dad. God bless you. xxx

(((((HUGS))))) what a lovely present from your dad I am sure he wanted you to have this reminder (all be it painful) at this time of year. I hope you can take some comfort from it and remember all the good times. Love from us x

That was meant to be Gerri. To distract you from that horrible task. Massive hugs to you. Your Dad wanted to make the whole thing easier and he did. Bet he's smiling down at his lovely daughter xxxxxxx

A hug from me too and a cuddle and ear nibble from Louie and a kiss from Sadie

It gets easier - 3 years without my Granddad, I light a candle for him 3 times a year, 1 on his birthday, 1 on the day we lost him and 1 on Christmas day.

Well done. It took me weeks to sort Sam`s stuff. I still have his shoes and coat in the hall, and his dressing gown on the back of the bathroom door. People we love never leave us. They are always in our hearts.
