Mum was 90 today.

We went over to Brentwood and met up with sister Gill and BIL Peter and eldest brother Michael and SIL and had a nice meal. Thing was I forgot the camera.

She didn't look too well. Apparently she had an upset tummy in the morning bit nasty by all accounts and had the nurse turn up too take blood which she wasn't expecting they couldn't get blood out of one arm so tried the other arm and it went everywhere.

She did eat a fair bit at lunch time though and enjoyed having us all around for a few hours.

Glad your mum had a nice time. Happy Birthday Lynn's mum. Hope she feels better soon.

Thanks all, she was in better spirits when Michael rang her yesterday evening to wish her Happy Birthday and having a laugh with him.

I tried to get a helium balloon with 90 on it but they are hard too get hold of I think you have too order them the woman in the shop said we do not get that much call for them. The number 9 and number 0 were £8.50 each. so we got her one with happy birthday from us all.

Gill made her a lovely cake all hand made flowers on the top and a 90 candle and everyone in the restaurant sang happy birthday too her, I think she was a bit over whelmed by it all.

But we are glad we did it you are never sure now how much longer she may have with us. Just a shame our younger brother couldn't be with us work or something although he was given 8 weeks notice and he finishes early on a Tuesday. Him and his wife took her out on Saturday.

So all in all I think she had a nice birthday even if it was a bit of a rough start.
