Wormers???

Hi we usually give Oscar 1/2 drontal worming tablet every 3 months, He had 1/2 with his dinner and was sick about 4 hours after, all his meat came back but not sure about the tablet they do dissolve pretty quick. Would anyone suggest changing his worming tablets also when to worm him again?
We're going away in a few weeks he'll be staying with my dad don't want him ill for then any suggestions would be gratefull thank you.

As your dog is a weeny one, I would tend to phone the vet and just explain what has happened and ask their opinion on re-dosing. I'm sure they will just tell you over the phone without a visit to them.

How heavy is your dog? And which Drontal is it. You have to be careful with overdosing it

Toby did the same and the vet said not to give him more. We did switch brands after that though

Thankyou for all your comments, this is the first time he's been sick in 3 years of taking the same Drontal, He'd taken it 5 hours before he was sick so I'd say most of it would have gone into him. He has 1/2 tablet as he's only 4kgs every 3 months. My other half told me the day after like men do that he'd not been keen on his breakfast that morning which is really strange for him he eats anything and everything. He's fine now, though I will mention it to the vet when he goes for injections next month. Thanks again xxx
