Chocolate, Orange & Pecan Cookies mmmm!

Oh wow, just made these and they are sooo scrummy!!! Way nicer than shop-bought and they are so quick and easy you can knock them together in 10mins:smt002

4oz Soft Marg
3oz Soft Light Brown Sugar
2 tbsp Syrup
6oz S.R Flour
4oz Chocolate Chips (I use cadbury ones)
2 tbsp Milk
Grated rind of one orange
6 pecan nuts chopped

Heat oven to 180C/Gas Mark 4

Beat marg and sugar together until soft and fluffy.

Stir in syrup, flour, choc chips, chopped pecans, milk, orange rind and a sqeeze of juice from the orange. Mix thoroughly together.

Place spoonfuls of the mix onto prepared baking tray (I use greaseproof paper). Cook for 8-10mins. To test if they are cooked place a sharp knife in the centre of a cookie, if it comes out clean it is cooked.

Enjoy!!!!!!!
