Bertie is lovely he is a rescue he was so fat last year he could hardly walk, he does still have trouble with his back legs but walks a fair way now. He can be a but grumpy though sometimes.

Lovely photo, such a contrast in size (mind you whenever I meet a basset, I always find them bigger than I think - particularly if they try and get on their hind legs to reach the kitchen worktops )
