Madeleine McCann

http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2012/ap...?newsfeed=true

Could it be possible that Madeleine is still alive? Wouldn't it be nice for this family to have closure (one way or another) I can only imagine the torment they must go through every single day.

I fervently hope that she is alive and well and will soon be reunited. It is an unimaginable loss and burden for a parent and family!

I feel terribly sorry for the McCanns now and in the future, whatever the outcome.

After all, if she IS still alive, she will be a complete stranger and it will not be a simple case of reuniting a girl and her family at all..........................

I am afraid that I very much doubt that the poor little thing is still alive...........for one thing, the mega publicity would make her far too hot to handle. Very sad.

Whilst I feel desperately sorry for the child, I find it difficult to have sympathy for her parents, and before you all jump up and throw spears at me, I do realise that my view will be unpopular.

However, when I consider all the thousands of families who lose their children through absolutely no fault of their own (and yes, I do blame the parents in this case - I would never have left our daughter alone in the house to have a meal elsewhere, never never never), who suffer anguish and torment in no lesser measure, but who do not expect the British taxpayer to fork out millions to pay for the search, year in, year out, I find it very difficult to be interested in the M's cause.

I wish them luck in finding closure.

I have to also agree with Bitkin and SB.

Whilst it is very sad, and must be unbearable for the family, if she IS still alive, she will be a complete stranger now.

I do not think it is helping them to carry on looking tbh.

Sorry but the fact that a child was abducted was nobody's fault apart from the abductor.
