Beagle Puppy mauled to death by GSD

Another story on the local news here in Warwickshire.
A five month old beagle pup was mauled to death by a GSD. Apparentely the beagle was out for a walk and on a lead and the GSD came running up and set on it. Didn't say where the GSD owner was at the time. The puppy was taken to the vets but had to be put down due to it's injuries.
This is the third story here in Warwickshire in the last few weeks, the main one being a Doberman attacking a child in Claverdon a few weeks ago.
Although these incidents are dreadful, the press are fuelling the hysteria directing it at some breeds. Where is this going to end. I worry for dogs in the future.

Aww That Is So Sad

That is very tragic but I bet it would have only recieved a passing comment if it wasn't for the sad events of jan 1st. This goes to show how irresponsible people need to be made responsible for their dogs actions.
