Beaches re-open to dogs this weekend!

I've been waiting for this weekend to come round since we collected Griffin, I really want him to see the sea when he's still little-I have a long list of these things !-so he doesn't get worried about it when he's older and comes across such a massive expanse of water, he'll just about paddle in a stream atm but the sea is a whole different kettle of fish isn't it. Anyways the dog restrictions on many beaches are lifted tomorrow so now all I have to do is find a beach we can get to without leaving Chester for too long! Any advice from you clever dogsey folk, beach/dog virgin here so all help greatly received!
