One month has passed

One month has passed since our sweet Trixie was taken from us.
She was only 6 years old and suffered from pyometra. She didn't survive the operation, her organs had become poisoned by the decease.
We still miss her so much, her little sister is still lost without her and has lost her joy in life.
It's so hard to watch her still searching for her.
The other two have settled back into their routine but they were always focused on eachother anyway.
We buried Trixie in our garden with her favourite toy and speak to her every day.
It's getting a bit easier now but we'll never forget her.
love you Trixie, forever in our heart

Just one month, it must still feel so raw.
It's been 18 months for me and reading posts like this brings everything back like it was yesterday, then I try not to think about the end and the loss so much. I have to remind myself to do that each time or I forget to remember the good stuff and was a lot of good stuff!
It's lovely that she has her fave toy and that you speak to her. I made sure Suzi had her collar, she seemed insecure without it.

thank you everyone for your sweet comments....to me, it seems to make it easier ( if there is such a thing ) when you know you are not on your own and there are so many people out there who feel exactly the same as you do. thank you so much. love to you all and god bless xxx
