13-03-12 Annya is a beautiful 15 week old Sheltie. She has come to us from a breeder as she has a low grade heart murmur. She may grow out of this but we cannot be sure. She is very pretty and sweet but timid and will need to be properly socialised, to attend puppy classes in due course and to be spayed at 6 months of age..

some breeder if they can put the pup in rescue. chances are sheltie pups grow out of low grade heart murmurs. i'm appalled the breeder could do this tbo x

There is a lovely tri colour on there that may have a congenital heart defect too...

Are heart probs known in the breed do you know ??

SHELTIES CAN HAVE MILD HEART MURMURS AS YOUNG PUPS THEY DO USUALLY CLEAR

do you have the link for the tricolour? how any breeder can put a wee pup into rescue for that reason beggars belief

nice pup, will make a good dog for someone

even if the heart murmur doesn't go away it's not a disaster to own a dog with one

13-03-12 Angus is a stunning 10 week old Tri coloured Sheltie. He has come to us from a breeder as sadly this lovely lad may have a congenital heart defect. He has been seen by our vet and will be seeing a heart specialist later this week. He is a little timid and will need lots of socialising. He must attend puppy classes and will need to be castrated by 6 months of age. We will update the site once we know more about his medical condition.
