Hali you officially have the loveliest OH ;o)

We never bother normally but because it's our first as husband and wife and Woody kind of took the honeymoon period away from us I'm going to lots of effort for him.

I've bought a nice card and his favourite chocolates and have just printed off this to leave on his side of the bed:

Invitation to a Valentine’s meal for two

To my darling husband

I would like to invite you out to dinner to celebrate our first Valentine’s Day as husband and wife.

Date: Saturday 14 February 2009

Venue: our house

Time: 8pm

Dress code: sexy

Menu

Sweetcorn Fritters

Thai Green King Prawn Curry served with Pad Thai and Jasmine Rice

Washed down with copious amounts of Cava

for pudding you’ll just have to wait and see!

I have candles for the table and a red table cloth with candles and rubber ducks (love ducks!) for decoration.

Pudding is strawberries and squirty cream - no bowls or spoons;o)

You are as bad as us
We say it is no different to any other day when we say I love you. We don't need a card and hubby regularly buys me flowers anyway.

Thanks Pidge . But its right that you have a lovely romantic first valentine as a married couple - I don't expect you're OH to join you at poo picking at the local rescue for another 10 years

just reminded me when I was a student sharing a flat with two teachers - one of them had a puppy and one night he managed to get into the other teacher's room while he was 'entertaining' his girlfriend. Apparently the pup jumped on the bed and started licking any bare skin he could find

For some reason the girlfriend was not impressed and refused to stay over if the pup was there

I don't have an OH so not really , although I may go for a coffee round a nice mans I often meet out dog walking. have known him for about 18months now and he is always asking me round for a coffee and has given me his phone number, Last couple of times I have seen him he even said to take the dogs round with me too. that is brave of him with my two monsters. So may get myself into gear and go today.
My daughter is having a lovely valentines though. She went out for a meal at pizza hut last night with her boyfriend and some other friends then today they are both off to the zoo. He has also bought her a £100 necklace
