It is a really nice colour! Reminds me of another breed with a similar colour, but can't for the life of me remember which one! :smt017

Hi Laura,

Yes blue is more common in irish staffs but even then its not "very common" as you say, you are simply wrong. Read all the reply in this thread, they are few people of said "i have never seen that colour before".

You have given a couple of examples of blue dogs in the member's pages, but i have had a look in there, and i can asure you there are a LOT less blue staffs in there then black ones!!

Another quick was to see how common or uncommon a blue staffy is, is to go to google, click on images then type in images.

Guess what page after page of black, brindle, red, staffy, but not one blue!!

LOL Actually, I did say they were less common than blacks and brindles for that matter, reds too but I wouldnt say rare in any way. They may not be on searches but most of what comes up is usually show stuff and there are not a lot of blue dogs in the show circuts (kc), if you look at the Irish dogs and a lot of what is bred nowadays a high % is blue just look at all the ad's around, at the end of the day does it really matter lol? All I am saying they aint rare, more common than say fawn or white. Nice colour anyways.
