Has anybody ever used Royal Canin puppy milk? The vet gave me some of this to help out until Jasmines milk comes in, but looking at the instructions (bearing in mind I'm k*******d) I'm reading it as 30ml per feed......now that seems one heck of a lot, when I hand reared Daisy's litter I was giving 2ml every 2 hours.

Any body know??

Never used it myself either, maybe it means 30ml in 24 hrs? 30ml per feed couldn,t be right

Well after feeding the pups all day yesterday, sneaked them on Jasmine a couple of times, although she wasn't happy, and all night, this morning it looks like things are picking up.

7.30am she got into the whelping box which is something she hasn't done without a bit of coaxing, cleaned all the pups then lay down to feed. I think we have 4 attached at the moment.....and the silence is bliss!! They didn't really settle until around 5am this morning, I think with both litter and Jasmine, they were all in a bit of a shock to come into the world so quickly, Jasmine just looked at them as if they were nothing to do with her.

Just have to make sure now all pups are getting their fair share of the milk bank!

Two hours later and she's still in there....I think we've cracked it!
