wow how quiet is this tonight.

Moira that's pretty steep rent, what about a 1 bedroom place and you can leave your son behind I've been incredibly lucky here always been able to talk myself into a flat. This is my 4th place in 10 years and I've been the first person to have a dog in each of these 4 places.

This new problem with ticks, might have been better not having pet passports would have saved us from the ticks and also from all those poor puppy farm dogs being brought from abroad just so people make money.

Griff good news about your mums job but a bummer about the money. TW those dogs of yours certainly keep you on your toes lol and glad to hear Sue sat down for a little while.

Griff and TW I'll join your poverty club as I too have very little money but it's amazing how little money you really need.

Where's Myra she hasn't been on for a long time.

1cutedog you are right...you can get by, I am lucky that mum takes good care of me, if I need something and can't afford it and she knows she will get it for me. I had a place off the housing association before, was lovely, ground floor, front and rear garden....just the eejit upstairs that was a problem
I have been trying for ages to upload a video to photo bucket...doing my head in now

Been on the phone and watching telly. Plus I gave the girls dinosaur bones for tea and it is like having a pride of lions (or rather lionesses outside).I gave Zen the meatiest one, none of them need to put on weight, but she is the baby so I always make sure she gets a bone that has a lot on it. So I gave her that particular bone first, now that is out of their pecking order, got a dirty look off Lona, gave her the next one, and she looked at it and dropped it, came back for another, but that one was Mabs's, then Kesh, then Cariad.Lona wasn't happy with her bone, Mabs disappeared into the sleeping part of the big house, Kesh into the little one, and Cariad was outside and Zen outside over by the wall. Thought it a bit strange that Lona hadn't run off with hers. I turned round to go in as I turned to shut the door I saw a black and silver blur and Zen squealed, Lona had stolen her bone, left the one she didn't like and run into the big house with Zens bone. Zen seemed OK about having Lona's bone, left it at that and went in. Went out to check them after Corrie and Zen is out, without any bone at all. Escorted her into the big house and immediately a chorus of spine chilling growls greeted me, I also heard and saw Kesh as she grumbled, grabbed her bone and took it further inside where she was. Ever since then I have been popping out, and each time Zen is out, and I take her back in, there are grumbles all round, then she settles.I go out later and she is back out again. Just about to do and see if she is in bed yet.
I too wish Moyra would find somewhere warm and dry for herself to live and not have all she has to endure from her very unappreciative son. Lots of people rent their houses near me and quite a few have dogs. I am sure the Council lets you have up to 2 dogs as long as they don't cause havoc of course.
Right off to see if I have managed to persuade Zen to go to bed, its flaming cold outside. She has got the thickest coat out of the lot of them, and thats saying something, but still would rather she was inside where she's under cover and on rubber matting and shavings
You sneaked in Griff, lovely vid of them playing, and their toy is exactly the one Alun has for his dog

Awwww poor Zen, hope she got to enjoy at least some of a bone. A lot of the councils are banning dogs now TW...in particular bull breeds and large breeds, there are people who have lived in flats, on estates etc for years and years, had permission for the dog and now are told to get rid or be evicted!! I think bristol was one place and part of London another..our HA let me have 2 but now they are being funny too...in the case of 2people round here no bad thing to not be allowed a dog
