I am now away on business for 2 days, so I have left Tara in the hands of my lovely husband......I have left instructions for her to keep Daddy occupied.

1. Sleep very little, only sleep when Daddy wants you to go out in the garden for a pee or a poo.
2. Run up the stairs at every opportunity, that way Daddy gets lots of exercise.
3. Get ALL the toys out of the toy box so that Daddy gets more exercise putting them back

lol lol

Why is it you are only away for a few days and your puppy seems to have grown lots in that short space of time??..

Well, Tara has now learn't how to do whirling dervishes around the living room, as well as using the furniture as a canine urban assault course

I came home late last night and was greeted with 4 happy faces (inclusing hubby ). Just sat down to a glass of wine when puppy wanted to show off her new fitness regime.

Leg it around the living room,(thru room) into the dining room, around the table...break hard...grab toy...run around the table again, back into the living room, up and over the sofa, onto floor, over daddy sitting on the chair, out the living room door, into kitchen..skid to stop..have a drink..back into living room at top speed!! then collapse into a heap..

daddy looks exhausted but has definately lost a few pounds so the Tara workout definately has some benefits.

Jack and Maia are tolerateing her a lot more and Tara loves nothing more than to hang off Jack's jowls and swing...he puts up with this for a few seconds before telling her off, but she is a glutton for punishment and does it again.

Once the camera is charge again, I will take some more photos..she has nearly out grown her crate!

Well this Monday is final boosters day and then next weekend we can take her out and she can meet the rest of the world properly.

She is now way to heavy to carry, and a complete fidget anyway.

Today I have to go out and buy another baby gate as Tara just loves upstairs and its no good for her growing joints and MY back, so hopefully we can curb her enthusiasm, although the cats live upstairs and I really need her to become completely comfortable with them.

Tara went on her first homecheck today with me, I believe in starting them young..and putting people off puppies for life..pmsl.

They had an 8 week old rottie x, and the 2 of them had a ball!! Great way to socialise the little madam as well..they also had 2 massive Dallies and Tara imediately took over the house..lol

Well its been 2 weeks since we got Tara, wow time has flown....

Housetraining is getting there, slowly but surely, we are having more Hits than misses with the wee's but the poo's still have me stumped I thought that the 'no 2's' would be around the same time every day, but they are Not , so that is very much miss, although on the plus side they are nice and firm...< I cannot believe I am discussing Poo>

Why is it when you meet other puppy owners you end up talking about wee and poo ???

Anyway, GOT the baby gate, my sanity is restored as is my back and we are now back in control although Tara is an amazing sulker, on first discovering that 'Planet Cat poo' (upstairs litter trays) was now off limits she took herself to her crate and threw herself down and made silly 'I feel sorry for myself' noises.

Why is it you discover your camera is Kaput when you want to capture an 'ahhh' moment? Tara and Maia had their first 10 second snuggle yesterday, I day 10 sec, that was the length of time before Maia woke up to realise that Tara was there...

Tomorrow is Booster day and after that the world is Tara's oyster, so really looking forward to that....
