jayne, i wish that worked! Ihave tried putting her food down, and taking it away if she didnt eat it after 10 mins. However, all that happened was she'd nibble on the next meal, and stick her nose up. and after 2 weeks of that. Ive now taken away breakfast. which hasnt really helped either. but she doesnt eat all in one go, so im forced to leave it out for her so she can go back and nibble when she wants.
wether this is a good idea i dont know

I didn't have any problems with Teagan eating when her baby teeth fell out.
But I helped her along, because I knew she wanted to chew......I froze carrots, and gave her them to chew, and they seemed to help a little!

I'm having the same problem as you at the moment, he wont eat and cries cause he cant eat but he does want it but to much pain.
I've been to the vet with him who gave him a shot of pain killers but you can't keep that up for 3 months.

I've also tried the frozen towel and kong to no avail.I'm going to try ice cubes before his next meal to see if this helps.

Like you I'm getting desparate, so if anyone else has any suggestions please post quickly.

at least im not alone!
I gave indie a frozen teatowel, but she shredded it in minutes rather than chewing on it soothingly.lol.

She loves eating her frozen yoghurt kongs, so maybe i will add some of her biscuits to it.

It seems to be worse when she has a wobbly tooth as she keeps forgetting that it hurts to chew on and she yelps

Ive bought her a few cuddly dog toys, which seems to help a bit as she would rather chew on something soft than something made of rubber. So once she has made her way to the stuffing, i pull it all out and give her whats left.. she doesnt seem to mind.lol.

Ive found that when i soak her biscuits in warm water, if i leave some of that water in with the biscuits, she tends to eat a bit better... although i dont know if thats good for her? i mean, will it cause her to bloat
