Good morning Kazz, Chris, Brenda and all who follow

Hope hospital appointment goes well for hubby Brenda.

Yep another dull and drizzly day. One load of washing done now just two beds to strip and wash. Had a lovely time out yesterday at Kew. The lights were quite spectacular. They suggest you leave yourself and hour to do the tour but we had taken two and a half and then looked at the time and had to leave to catch our trains home, Then I had a 2 hour drive home via Brighton. Got home at 12.30 am so straight to bed. Taking the decorations down today and that is all that is planned.

Hope all are well

Have a good day

Yep hubby's appointment all ok. Cast off and stitches out and a wrist support put on. Has to go back in 4 weeks time. So, now it is just a case of keeping on top of the uti infections that he keeps having, although the last one was all clear. Have a good day all. Sun is out here. Take it easy Sue, remember bend at the knees.

Morning all
Brenda, great news about your husband!
Raging here, the dog wardens have given the dog back...I asked about what's going to happen with the owner as the dog was neglected....I was told the dog is having treatment for its skin..no he bloody isn't!! So I said what about his eyes? Ingrowing dew claws, overgrown rear claws, lump on his paw?? They are getting the dog warden to call me back to reassure me.... that's not going to happen, the owner should be prosecuted!!

OMG that's crazy. Sometimes I think these council employees just take the 'easy route' they don't want to make waves and they don't really care. I'd like to think that they are not all like that but when you work for a council you have a lot of 'job protection' and rarely do you find yourself redundant, so long as you keep your head down and follow the rules.

Sounds to me like this is what has happened here, owner has been given dog back and told to take better care of him..................but they will likely do nothing and poor dog will suffer.

I can see why your raging, I am also mad, but that's the kind of world we live in now.

Very wet and cold and dull around here. Alena thinks Xena has been doing rapid breathing which has worried her so we're off to the vets this afternoon for a check up. She's eating well, enjoys her walks, and has good digestion, sometimes her nose is dry but not all the time.

Afternoon all.

Been out and had the flu jab - whoop -ee-dee.

Back with Gert form a lovely run in the fields (her not me). Also a bit of lunch eaten. Washing, blowing brilliantly on the line and drying well too. Last lot in the machine now.
