Our Agility Weekend (small brag)

When I say small brag, I mean big, huge brag

The weekend we went to the shows at Horsham, yesterday was the Bridge house show, and today was the Surrey show, both at the same venue so that was nice

Yesterday at the Bridge house show the weather was lousy in the morning, when Jack's rounds were, he got Eliminated in the G1-4 jumping and 10 faults in the G1 agility, but, BUT, he only went and won the G1 jumping bless his little cotton socks he jumped his heart out, but it was close, he won in 23.33 seconds and the 2nd place was 23.39 seconds, he got a lovely rosette and a plaque, and we were so pleased with him, he got loads of cuddles and kisses from all of us. There are no pics or videos of yesterday coz of the lousy weather

Today was the Surrey dog training club show, and although it wasn't raining it was overcast, but a lot better than yesterday, today the G1 agility was 10 faults (well what are contacts anyway ) then in the G1-3 Helter Skelter Jack came 5th, woohoo, what a little star he's been, but there was more to come from my little soldier, he only went and won the bloomin G1 jumping again and this time he got a lovely rosette the trophy was like a big wine glass with the clubs name on and first etched onto it

What an absolutly fabulous weekend we had, we couldn't have dreamt this in our wildest dreams, we were hoping that we'd get a clear round, we are so proud of our little man I've got videos from today, hope you enjoy

G1 jumping, 1st place

G1-3 Helter Skelter, 5th place

well done, what a star!! You must be really proud. I am also grinning just as much as you are as my little midi dog has just had a brilliant weekend at the Staverton UKA show. Out of 9 runs over the weekend she was clear/placed in 8! Really happy as these points have moved her out of beginners and into novice. Let's hope that we can both continue this winning streak! By the way the videos were great!

It sounds as if you've had a brilliant weekend they make you so proud don't they, 8 clears out of 9 fantastic, and there was me thinking Jack had done great with 3 out of 6

Jack has to win one more G1 jumping and then he can go to G2, and I think that if we wanted to Jack could go to G2 agility, but he's not ready for that, and who knows he may never win another class so it wont matter

Oh, Christine, I'm absolutely delighted for you!

Jack was just brilliant. I gather that was Chris leading him around?

Excellent videos - Jack just loves it, doesn't he?

Yes that was Chris in the ring with Jack

Jack really does love his agility, at one stage, because we couldn't hear the tanoy properly Chris took Jack of to see if he could que for his go, and left the car being dragged, but he was too early and as he tried to walk away from the ring, he was the one who had to do the dragging as Jack didn't want to leave
