agility what age can he start

hi all i was just wondering at what age a pocket jack could start to train for agility, carlsburg seems to have a nack for it with out actually trying he will be 1yr in sept and would like to have someone train him i think he will be good.

agility clubs in my area wont let you start until your dog is a year old.

It's not advisable to let any puppy do anything strenious until a year old because of their jionts, but up until then you can conentrate on your commands and instructions and teach them to weave (around cups) etc so they get the general 'feel' of it, befor they can actually do it.

thanks guys that is what i thought i dont do any thing with him, i have a few jumps in the garden for my other doglet and he seems to think they are his as will jump them off lead and not asked to either that is why i wanted to check. thanks again. xx
