Competitions ...?

Are you lucky with competitions? Had any good wins? Or are you like me, hardly even won a sausage! The last win I had was a basket of fruit in a charity shop draw (which was lovely, i might add), but it got me thinking ... you know online draws where you have to give your e-mail address, you often get a link to the donators website, ie ... if it is a night at a posh hotel, the link is to the hotel ... which I often think if you don't click, you don't even get into the draw .. do others agree?

Does anyone know of any 'good' competitions sites, I know of a lot of bad one's .. skill one's or whatever, i'd be interested to know ...

Have you won on-line & was it just the luck of the draw or are there 'secret tips' to be told Come on, spill the beans! I'm interested to know ... Lucy

I won some yellow sheets once in a competition about ......DOGS

never won anything else not even a raffle ...except premium bonds and I win about four a year but it's only ever £50

Lucky you Mini, I've had some bonds bought for me when I was born and I've never won a penny

Well I was chuffed when I won one of the Dogweb ones!

Competitions of luck ... can't remember when I won one

Competitions involving some skill/knowledge - won a few of those - best one being £100 in Virgin megastore vouchers, next best a Christmas hamper from John Lewis

Premium bonds - still haven't managed to win a prize.
Lottery - had a good year 3 years ago ... was up by £200 (only ever managed to win £10 each time), but haven't won anything since.

I'm not very lucky with competitions

I won a sticker album once for some band that I can't remember. And a soft toy bee

You could get those magazines like Woman's own. They have loads of competitions in so you're bound to win something eventually!
Can't help with online things though, I have no idea

as i have " been away from dw for the last few months i have been filling my time with competitions i have wn about 20 in the last few months mostly little things but still winning

all the comps i have won bar 2 have been online

the only thing i have ever won was guest list entry to a band launch,that really made my year i desperately wanted to see the band.i have never won the lottery or any other competition i have entered and i beleive i was born unlucky no amount of positive thoughts for winning seem to help oh well i will keep trying
