Food

Hi we went to the petshop today, to get some puppy food

Our breeder is feeding Eukanuba puppy kibble mixed with some wet food but we don't really want to keep him on the eukanuba (also the wet food is PEDIGREE ) We'll leave him on this for a while although I'm really not keen on pedigree.

What I was thinking was to start feeding Burns maybe mixed with nice things sometimes, some vegetables or cooked chicken or something, and possibly some Nature Diet wet food.

what do you think of this diet? I just want to vary it a bit as I know I would get bored eating the same food all the time

i agree they r good choices. Dont be fooled about the variety, dogs dont have the same taste buds as us and dont need a variety in taste like we do. unless u r using diff flavours of same brand surely it wud upset ur dogs tummy.

giving cooked meat on the side is a good idea, but dont be suprised if ur dog gets fussy with the dry food i already hav this prob, lol.

you should meet my dog Jack he definately has very good taste buds - he has a thing for coffee, cola, cat food, in fact if you can eat it he'll try it

you need to introduce a new diet very gradually so you don't upset his tummy

When changing diet do it over the course of a week, start with normal diet then add little bit of new diet, keep doing this increasing the new food and cutting down the old diet each day
