Misty Is Pregnant And Off Her Food - HELP!!!

Misty is 5 weeks into her first pregnancy and I'm finding it hard to get her to eat. She was mad on Bakers Moist Complete and Frolic, but now she only wants to eat chicken and mince!

I'm scared this might bind her!

She will however eat anything off my plate ops: although I try not to encourage this!

Any suggestions ???:smt017

Going off her food is normal. Feed her something that's easy on the stomach like chicken and rice, split her meals into two or three. I used to add raw egg to Tam's food when she was pregnant and this helped a lot.

Good luck!!!

trouble with egg is it might bind her and if she has a full tummy she might find it hard to go ........... her apitite will return as the pregnancy progresses ...I don't feed soft foods like frolic it's not good for the teeth and isn't a very good food.....keep going with the mince and chicken but add mixer to stop her poo from going soft..... I don't feed much extra at this time (5wks) I split the meals into 3 smaller ones around 7 weeks ....her hormoness are rife at this time so if she refuses food for a bit don't worry ......a preganant bitch in the wild would not get fed every day so she will store what she needs for her and the pups .....
