Western Lowland Gorillas.

These Gorillas are facinating creatures, the power in the male "Jock" is immense! Taken at Bristol Zoo today.

Great shots as always Dawn. I remember going to see the silverback at Chester Zoo when I was little. You smelled him before you saw him but what a magnificent animal.( I still can't watch Gorillas in the Mist without a hankie.....)He is no longer there now as he was moved to a better enclosure at another zoo.

I remember that - he needed some Right Guard that's for sure.
