she's ok this morning, quite chirpy,

I will let you all know the outcome of my chat with the rescue co-ordinator, but from the chat I had with the secretary this morning I think, they are happy for her to be here just now, happy for me to assess her, so she may be here untill shes better or may even be re-homed straight from here by them, im not 100% sure yet.

Just caught up with this as been away from Saturday afternoon and all day Sunday.

You are an angel Shona and I'll look out for the wings when we next meet up LOL.

Seriously tho' so glad you found her and I hope to hear everything works out for her.

No word from Liz as yet and as have been away have not got round to phoning her back , but will do later today.

Well done you on taking her on..

As far as food, Burns do a very good High Energy dried food for underweight dogs/Large Breed, I had Tara on this for a while as she was not putting weight on, it was brilliant and gentle on the stomach.

Its called Lamb High Energy.

try porridge with a little milk then perhaps put a couple of eggs in it and slowly mix in whatever food you will feed her on.a farmer i know feeds his dogs on porridge and mince every day and they are collie sheepdogs real energetic and run all day.
