Thanks everyone - he's upstairs at the moment but every now and again I hear him crying.....

Hopefully it's something simple that Dean can sort quickly.

However, I do think a finger up the bum is on the cards for Len and he will NOT be impressed with that..... he's not forgiven Dean for the last time yet....... bless him x

Poor Len.
Hard to know when the boy has already had diarrhoea, but I hope Dean can give him some relief from the pain.
What time does he open?

Oh bless you Vicki - what a week you are having.
Poor Len - it is so miserable for everyone when they are in pain - if only they could talk and you could make them understand that you are going to help!
Hope Dean can make him much more comfortable.
Gentle hugs xx

Just back from the vet. Saw Tricia as Dean not working today. She gave Len a thorough examination but nothing obvious was found. Anal glands fine, and the "finger" examination turned up nothing.

Len was yowling the whole time, poor lad. Tricia can only think that his anus is going into spasm. She's given him a strong painkiller/pre-med.

He's finally gone upstairs to settle on my bed. Poor love - I do hope that's the end of it.......

Poor Len, hope his bum is better soon.

Bryan had an abcess in his bum last year, but he was licking a lot (until it bled ). Antibiotics sorted it out quickly though.

Big hugs xxx
