Rita.......Again!!!!

You all must be getting thoroughly tired of hearing about my Rita, so I thank you in advance for listening.
My little old lady has made a remarkable recovery and I just want to shout it from the rooftops!!
A few days ago the vet was not available so I kept her home as I had already decided not to try to prolong her agony but to keep her as comfortable as possible and let nature take its course. Her nose was still stopped up and she was wheezing pretty bad and sneezing. I gave her half of a children's dose(half a teaspoon) of benedryl twice a day for two days. Then I stopped as I did not want to over medicate her. The change was remarkable! She's eating like a piglet, TROTTING behind me as I move about the house and barking at the kitten as she flashes by her. All her symptoms are gone. I'm just so thrilled at such a dramatic improvement I want to tell everyone and Dogsey is as close to everyone I can get. Even if it turns out to be the calm before the storm I'm glad she's gotten a chance to be happy.

That is good news, our dogs are our children, being able to talk when things are bad helps us get through them so don't apologise.

Do hope Rita continues to keep well for you, it's so distressing when out furry babies get poorly.
