Another seizure for Pereg

This morning at 10.30am on just Day 8 - I was due to take her for her check-up and blood tests at 1pm as she had gone seven seizure-free days but that has now had to be postponed yet again.

Poor Pereg - these seizures are taking their toll as they are so violent.

Aw Malka I am so very sorry to read that. I know what you are going thru'. I just hope that Pereg won't have another one.

I just hope she is not post-ictal for days as she was after the last one. I gave her 10mg Valium as soon as she was up and stopped staggering into things, then wiped her down, mopped the floor as best I could - then the gimmee food started. So I tipped half a bag of frozen mixed vegetables in her bowl [actually helps cool her down from the inside] - more nagging so I gave her half a frozen chicken carcass.

The Valium [or the food] seems to have worked for the moment but I do not know for how long. Anyhow she has been out for a p&p then flonked down next to my chair - until she saw my neighbour and promptly flew out all excited to greet her, as normal. Came back in and she is flonked down next to me again.

So it is back to Day 0 yet again. SIGH

I am so sorry Malka about Pereg again. Hopefully she'll settle and get over this one very quickly. ((hugs))

So sorry about Pereg. Makes my own dog problems seem minor. Hope she has a fast recovery.
